By confirming a booking with JM Transport Services you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
It is our responsibility to deliver or produce your goods to you undamaged. This means that we will deliver or produce the goods to you in the condition they were in at the time of packing or made ready for transportation.
Any breakages or damages caused by any other person other than a JM Transport Services employee is the responsibility of the customer.
We offer free no obligation quotations, however a fee of £20.00 is required to secure your booking (this fee is non refundable if the job is cancelled & upon completion will be deducted from the overall price).
We accept all waste but please make sure any loose waste is bagged. Any loose waste not bagged will incur additional costs.
We do not accept responsibility for electrical items that have been broken or damaged before transportation. We advise all our customers to test electrical goods before using our services. All large electrical items are cared for, professionally wrapped and securely strapped. We must be informed of any items that require speacial handling instructions at the time of booking (i.e fridges over the height of 4ft as they need to be carried in the upright position). Transportation bolts / brackets, where applicable, should be pre-installed to appliances prior to our arrival.
Any additional work that has not already been quoted for will incur extra charges & is subject to availability. This work will not be carried out without your consent.
Any disruptions caused by a non JM Transpot Services employee resulting in extra time needed will incur additional costs.
For health & safety reasons, we may be unable to offer our services in adverse weather conditions (i.e snow & ice), if we are unable to carry out your pre arranged service for these reasons we will contact you to arrange another mutually convenient time.
If your collection or drop off point is on a red route you will need to apply to the local council for a permit for the date in question to avoid JM Transport Services vehicles incurring parking fines. Failure to do so will result in an invoice being billed to you for any costs incurred & may result in your booking being cancelled or postponed.
You will need to notify us at the time of booking if you reside within the congestion charge zone. Failure to do so will result in additional charges being invoiced to you & may result in your booking being cancelled or postponed.
